Benoit Bessette promoted at the Agri-Business Division

MONTRÉAL, May 9, 2018 – Sébastien Léveillé, executive vice president of La Coop fédérée’s Agri-business Division announces the appointment of Benoît Bessette to the position of vice president, marketing, communications and strategy. In this role, Mr. Bessette will have the mandate to assist the division’s management with the definition of its strategic plan, to develop its communication and marketing culture with the help of its different partners, and to oversee the realization of these activities.

Biographical Notes
Benoît Bessette is well known in the field of marketing and communications in Québec. He worked for 18 years at Cossette and spent two years at the head of its sister agency, K72. In between, he had the opportunity to work with the agricultural community from 2012 to 2016 as Vice President of marketing and communications for Camso manufacturing. This has conferred on him the relevant expertise to meet the challenges of our pan-Canadian expansion.

In parallel with his career path, Benoît is involved in the business community, serving as both a member of the CAA-Québec Board of Directors and as a lecturer in the Executive MBA program at the Management School of Université de Sherbrooke, among other roles.

Benoît holds an Executive MBA from Université de Sherbrooke and a BSc in Economics from Université de Montréal.
