Giving to a participant is not only encouraging and supporting them in the pursuit of their sporting challenge, but it is also helping communities and the most vulnerable people. In fact, all the money raised is donated to the From Us to You campaign, which, in collaboration with our cooperative network has donated 1.1 million dollars in cash and food products over the past two years and is making a real difference in the communities. The initiative has put fresh, local food products in more than a million meals in two years, through the Quebec and Eastern Ontario food banks and La Tablée des chefs, and by doubling the number of staff to improve services in the regions with the Au cœurs des familles agricoles organization, which looks after the mental health of farm workers and their families.
