42nd season of the Midget AAA hockey league

La Coop fédérée supports the next generation of Quebec athletes.

Laval, August 23, 2017 – The 42nd season of the Quebec Midget AAA Hockey League was launched this morning at the Houston Centropolis restaurant in Laval. At this event, La Coop fédérée was proud to renew its support to the league for a 14th consecutive year, remaining a prestigious partner for the 2017-2018 season.

"La Coop fédérée is proud to support the Quebec Midget AAA Hockey League. We know that playing sports is a great way to give and pass on important values to young people and to enable them to surpass themselves. This partnership is all the more natural for us because healthy living is embedded into the values that our company advocates and we attach a great deal of importance to it." Declared the CEO, Mr. Gaétan Desroches.

Increasing the visibility of the league by supporting the coverage of games and encouraging excellence
For a third year, La Coop fédérée will sponsor the broadcasting of several hundred games in collaboration with TVGO. As online content is gaining popularity, more people will be able to watch the skills of the players online. It is also a way for the families and friends of the players to stay in touch with them when they are on the road.

La Coop fédérée will also award a prize to six players who will be named, "rookie of the month", and will be awarded the Daniel Brière - La Coop Trophy, the player who stood out on the ice as well as through his academic results. Finally, La Coop fédérée will award the Clément-Fillion/La Coop trophy to the most valuable player of the playoffs.

The partnership between the Midget AAA League and La Coop fédérée allows hundreds of talented players to pursue their dreams and fully live their passion for sports.
