Alain Laflamme

Alain Laflamme is a farmer with his wife in the Montérégie region. He is a shareholder of 275 sows at Fermes boréales. The second generation farm has 30 hectares in corn and soybean cultivation as well as 4,000 fattening and nursery places renovated in 2018 for animal welfare. Among his previous experiences, he counts six years as Vice-President and fourteen years as Audit President at La Coop Comax, now Agiska Coopérative. He has been president of the audit, finance and risk management committee of Agiska Cooperative since 2022. Through his experiences in the agricultural world, he demonstrates leadership, perseverance and positivism. He calls himself a unifier, he organizes a harvest festival every year which brings together 150 producers. Thanks to his participation in various cooperative pork plans, he
has acquired an excellent knowledge of the environment of Sollio Cooperative Group. He was involved as a director at the Caisse des Salines in Saint-Hyacinthe and as a director at SOCODEVI. Mr. Laflamme was vice-president of the Filière porcine coopérative for eight years, interim president for one year and president from April 2022 to April 2023.
