Daniel Rivest

Daniel Rivest has served as Chief Executive Officer of Olymel since 2026. He joined the company in 2016 as Vice-President, Fresh Meat Sales, before successively taking on the roles of Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, and Chief Operating Officer in 2025. 

With more than 30 years of experience in the food processing industry in Canada, the United States, Asia and Europe, Daniel has developed an in-depth understanding of the industry’s various segments, including retail, foodservice, sales and marketing. His career has also enabled him to build strong expertise in commercial strategy and business development, with a focus on performance and achieving business objectives. 

Prior to joining Olymel, Daniel held several senior leadership positions with major companies in the food and consumer goods sectors. He served as Vice-President, Industrial Sales, and later as Vice-President, Foodservice Sales, at Agropur. Previously, he held various leadership roles at Molson Coors Canada, Parmalat Canada and Kraft Canada. 

Daniel holds an EMBA from the Université de Sherbrooke and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
