David Mercier
Poultry and field crop producer
David Mercier is a poultry producer from the Lanaudière region. He represents the fourth generation to operate the family farm. His farm includes five poultry barns, allowing for the production of 115,000 chickens, as well as 415 acres under cultivation.
David Mercier holds a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in the Farm Management and Technology Program from McGill University. He serves on the board of directors of Novago Coopérative. He has also served on various committees and boards within the agricultural sector, including the Centre de référence en agriculture et agroalimentaire du Québec (CRAAQ), Au cœur des Familles Agricoles (ACFA), the UPA, and his region’s MRC.
