Denis Lévesque

Denis Lévesque runs Ferme Lémidra inc. in Mont-Carmel in the Haut- Pays de Kamouraska with his spouse, Louise Rivard and son Félix. His son represents the fifth generation at the head of the family operation. They have a herd of 115 heads in production for a quota of 140 kg per day.

Denis Lévesque graduated in animal production from ITA de La Pocatière and sits on the Board of Directors of Avantis Coopérative. Within his cooperative, he has served as Vice-President and President, and has served on various committees. He served as Mayor of his municipality for two terms and has been President of the Corporation de développement de Mont-Carmel since 2009.

Over the years, his involvement at different levels has allowed him to acquire extensive varied experience. He promotes the values of respect, integrity and rigour on a board of directors. He hopes to contribute to the progress of the cooperative world and to the fulfilment of cooperation.
