''I am co-owner with my parents of the family farm, Ferme Grolier SENC, in Lotbinière in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. I come from a family that readily gets involves. In addition to being secretary of CUMA Le Partage de Lotbinière [farm equipment cooperative], I am the second vice-president of my coop, Covris Coopérative. 

To be effective in all areas of our business, it also means doing more with what we have. Three of us work full-time on the farm. Everyone has their own area of responsibility, but we are all involved in every sector.

I really enjoy expanding my knowledge. It is something that is useful regardless of where you are in your life. I like being informed and up to date on what’s new. As soon as training is available to us, someone usually volunteers to go and bring the information back to the other members of the business.

For me, environmentally friendly farming is about giving the plant what it needs, at the right time, in healthy, uncompacted, fertile soil''.
