Many people are interested in garlic farming. In 2022, 20% more area was devoted to growing garlic in Quebec than in 2020. This is good for the development of the sector. Our biggest competition still comes from China, Spain, and Argentina. But the more garlic supplied from Quebec, the better we will become at producing and preserving it, and the more interested the major players in the agri-food industry will be in us.
